Throughout my career, a single question has stayed with me: How does an organisation get the most value from what it measures — and how does it prove that it is genuinely executing its strategy?

My interest in this question began at the Middle East Technical University, where I studied Statistics; it met the language of the business world through the MBA I completed at the same university. But what I truly learned, I learned in the field.

For nearly 14 years, I worked as an Organisational Performance Manager at MilSOFT Yazılım Teknolojileri A.Ş., one of the respected corporate software companies in the defence industry. Over those years, I built a measurement system from the ground up and kept it alive. And that is where I saw it: the struggles companies face with performance measurement are surprisingly universal — KPIs disconnected from strategy, activity lists mistaken for evidence, dashboards that create no value. The problem was never the companies. It was the method they were using.

That realisation took my career in a new direction: to share my knowledge and experience in organisational and process performance measurement with the very organisations wrestling with these challenges.

Since 2017, I have held the internationally recognised PuMP® Methodology Practitioner Certificate. On 1 March 2020, I joined the global PuMP® team as the Licensed PuMP® Partner for Europe and the Middle East. Today, I bring this proven methodology — created by Stacey Barr, the originator of PuMP — to organisations across Turkey.

I am also a trainer for PuMP Academy’s “Using Smart Charts” program, holding the authority to teach this critical technique on a global scale — the technique that makes it possible to interpret performance correctly. Because I believe that measuring a KPI is not enough; you have to read it correctly, separate the real signal from the noise, and act only when it is genuinely needed, at the right time.

I help the organisations I work with extract the greatest possible value from their KPIs and reach the business results they aim for. My goal is always the same: to transform strategy from an abstract document into visible, measurable, and provable progress.
